Carl Shaw follows up his win at East Leake triathlon with a win at the Skipton Sprint Triathlon. He took victory by a margin of over 3min in what was quite a dominate performance in cold and windy conditions. The rest of the podium was closely contested with William Holloway just getting the better of Dean Hanwell.

Carl may be part fish, but he is still human enough to have to put on socks on before T1 in a sprint triathlon! Let it be a lesson to you all that you need to be prepared to race to the weather conditions. You don’t suddenly become Superman just because you are in a race. Taking small measures to improve your comfort in bad weather will be paid back in full and some by the end of the race.

Well done Carl. Let the win streak continue.
